Wheel of Your Year Spread

This Wheel of Your Year spread is a big one! But it goes into detail what you may be facing over the next year. It can reveal so much insight! So give it a try!

Wheel of Your Year

“Wheel of Your Year” is a fourteen card spread designed to look at a year of time. This could be the year ahead starting at the current month, the next calendar year starting in January, or the next witch’s calendar year starting in November. And it doesn’t just have to be used in terms of the future. You can look back at the previous year or the previous calendar year. You can even look partially at the past and partially into the future. It is all up to you and what you want to know!

The Wheel of Your Year Spread

The first card is the significator or the core card. It is the card that represents you or the issue at hand.

The second card is an overarching challenge or obstacle in your life. If you are looking ahead, it may be a current challenge or obstacle, or you may run into it soon. If you are looking at the past, it was a challenge or obstacle you faced and you may or may not have overcome it yet.

The remaining cards are the month cards and tell you what the main theme is for that particular month. Their order depends on the reading and the time of the year.  For example, if you are looking at the new calendar year to come, you would start laying cards down with January. If it is the middle of June and you want to look ahead at what is to come, you can either start with June or with August and move around the wheel from there. When looking at the past, you can start with the card furthest in the past or you can spiral further into the past.

Remember that the future is not set in stone. I believe that by just being aware of what may come, the outcome of the future will change.
